The short version: Samarra keeps everything you enter on your own phone. Fozzyworks LLC does not collect, receive, sell or share your information.
What Samarra stores
When you use Samarra, the app saves the things you enter so you can see them again. That includes:
- Checklist items, notes, folders, dates and reminder times
- Amounts you enter for trip costs and budget expenses
- Goals and your progress on them
- The name of, and a link to, any file you attach to an item
All of this is saved in the app's private storage on your device. It is not sent to us or to anyone else.
What we collect
Nothing. Samarra has no accounts and no sign-in. It contains no advertising and no analytics or tracking tools. We do not run servers that receive data from the app.
Notifications
Samarra asks for permission to show notifications so it can remind you about items you set a reminder for. Reminders are scheduled and shown on your device. You can turn them off at any time in your phone's settings.
Files you attach
If you attach a file to an item, you choose it with Android's file picker. Samarra saves only a link to the file and its name. It does not make a copy or upload it. When you tap the attachment, your phone opens it with another app on your device.
Device backups
If you have Android's device backup turned on, Google may back up Samarra's data to your Google account and restore it when you set up a new phone. That process is run by Google under your device settings and Google's terms. We cannot see or access those backups.
Deleting your data
You can delete individual items, folders, goals and categories inside the app. Uninstalling Samarra removes all of its data from your device.
Children
Samarra does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.
This website
This website does not use cookies or analytics. It is hosted by Netlify, which may keep standard server logs, such as IP addresses, for security and operation.
Changes to this policy
If Samarra's handling of information changes, we will update this page and the effective date above before the change takes effect.
